Chipstead, Surrey is located on the top of the North Downs. We have fields and leafy country lanes but are still within easy access of London. Chipstead offers a wide range of amenities including a beautiful Norman church, a central community hall, a pub and a ‘state of the art’ theatre. The annual Flower Show and Guy Fawke’s celebrations attract visitors from far and wide. There are more than 30 local clubs and societies, involving all age groups. These are listed on the Chipstead Village website: www.chipsteadvillage.org, and also in the quarterly magazine “The Voice of Chipstead”. Events happening within the Parish are also diarised in the St. Margaret’s monthly magazine. We are fortunate to live in a village that offers such a sense of caring and community.
The purpose of the Chipstead Village Preservation Society is to attempt to manage change in full recognition that there are many outside influences that have a direct impact on the village, village life and the community.
